My work is born from nature. Textures, forms, and stories found in natural materials are transformed into jewellery, creating a unique conversation between materials shaped by fire, movement, and the hands that guide them. Unpredictable surfaces I create invite reflection on the journey from raw element to finished piece, celebrating both nature’s artistry and the people that honour it.
My fascination with the miniature world began in my childhood. Peering through a magnifying glass, I discovered secret landscapes — a universe of detail that revealed itself only to those who cared to look closely.
My earliest childhood collection of minerals—chrysoprase, sulphur, mica, cubes of pyrite, a magnificent lump of red glass, and numerous chunks of amber—fueled my imagination and laid the foundation of my aesthetic world. These early explorations instilled in me a reverence for the small wonders of the world and the curiosity that still guides every piece I create.
I started making jewellery without formal training, driven by intuition and curiosity. As I developed my skills, I learned techniques that allowed me to refine my work while remaining true to its organic, elemental spirit. Rough, unpolished stones are celebrated in my pieces, honoured for their origins, and allowed to speak through their natural forms. My work thrives on the tension between rugged and refined, between the raw energy of nature and the shaping of the hand.
Ethical sourcing is central to my practice. Gold is chosen with care, and stones often come from small mines or family-run businesses, where relationships are built on trust and shared values. These connections become friendships, grounding my work in respect and responsibility.
I believe that jewellery carries a deeper significance when its story is known. A piece created with intention, whose materials and making you understand, becomes more than an object—it becomes a personal treasure. Knowing its journey, feeling the care that shaped it, transforms jewellery into a lasting connection between wearer, maker, and nature.
